Ford Announcement
Ford announced at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show that it is reviving the legendary 5.0-liter 302 cubic inch V-8 engine for the aftermarket with a new line of BOSS 302 crate engines, which will go on sale in early 2007.
2006 Mustang GT places in Car and Drivers top ten for fifth time.
Who's going to carry the load? We will. The Mustang GT made a strong showing by being named one of Car and Driver's 10 Best for the fifth time. It went up against a field of 71 machines, and was named Best Muscle Car, a powerful statement coming from the credible staff at Car and Driver magazine. The Mustang GT flexed it's muscle during the week long, editorial staff-wide examination, and its presence was felt.
The Mustang GT is so powerful, even the heavy weights at muscle beach are staying late to fit in a few more reps. The 4.6-liter-aluminum V-8 has three-valve heads and cranks out 300 hp and 320 lb.-ft of torque, that's enough power to make any juiced up super athlete wish they ran on gasoline.
